Nintendo Announces New 'DSi LL'

At Nintendo’s press conference in Tokyo today, they announced a new handheld to be sold alongside the DSi – the DSi LL.

The DSi LL has a larger screen – 4.2 inches over the original 3.2 inch screen – which essentially almost doubles the viewable screen area of the DSi. Nintendo are gearing this new version of the DSi for customers who are looking to use the system for web browsing or media, as the larger screen area means larger fonts can be used for webpages and the like. However, the resolution has not changed form the original DSi, so this size increase doesn’t necessarily make things look any better, but it would definitely make things easier to see!

Personally, I think it’s time I started looking into picking up a DSi finally. I think I’d really enjoy that larger screen as my eyes get tired easily with my DS Lite’s tiny images.

It angers me to no end how many DS versions there are now. Like…I can understand milking the console when they get new ideas on how to improve it but jesus…why couldn’t they just put the larger screen on the previous DSi model?

Just one rework, that’s all they should be allowed to do. Like GBASP. Micro doesn’t count…micro is like…man, why does that even exist >_>

But yeah, I have a launch DS and even if I had money to buy a new one…I’d be afraid to because every three months they’re remodeling ‘em XD

Yeah, I suppose. However, this was a redesign due to complaints that users couldn’t read anything in the DSi web browser. It was done due to a seemingly big oversight on Nintendo’s part.

Yeah, an oversight they could’ve figured out after doing some quality control and control group testing. People really need to look to valve for a solid production model. Granted, valve is a bit slow but the games they make ejaculate fantastic into your mind and all over your eyes and shit.

    Talk about good shit :o
So yeah, Nintendo needs to get with the program. Do it up and shit. Shit shit shit…
