Level Omega – The Finale Show

Posted by mixmoff On November - 11 - 2010

As the podcast comes to a close, the gang thanks some of the people who have reached out over the last week. For posterity, the gang announces their games of the year (totally not a hastily thrown together braindump) and that’s… pretty… much… it.

Later boners!

End of an Era

Posted by mixmoff On November - 8 - 2010

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the Fall Damage podcast is entering a period of indefinite hiatus. Though we have enjoyed the last 14 months of creating this show and are thankful for all the great gamers and industry folks we’ve met, a confluence of events have created a situation where the show cannot continue under its existing format:

  1. Life changes for the hosts have limited gaming time and podcast recording availability
  2. We were unable to reach our fundraising goal to cover the ongoing hosting bill
  3. Skype’s call quality is actually getting worse, somehow, which is causing rampant technical issues each week
  4. Artistic differences

Thanks to the handful of people who attempted to donate to keep the show alive! I’ll be working with Paypal over the next week to get these donations refunded. We are working on a way to keep the main blog online so the shows can be maintained for posterity, but the forums will come down within the week.

Midweek Madness: Trine 75% Off

Posted by Aevan On November - 3 - 2010

Just in case it hasn’t been mentioned enough, Fall Damage really enjoyed Trine.  If you STILL haven’t played it, despite all of our press about how awesome this game truly is, then now is certainly the time to do so.  Steam’s Midweek Madness has the game at only $5, which is a deal that none of you should be ignoring.  To top it off, it’s now available on the Mac as well through the shiny new Steam-Mac service.  [Something I like to call S-Mac.]

It’s time to play, guys.
