Well, the main issue is for a non-admin/Fall-Damage writer to be able to chat with the Fall Damage community about a game one of us may have played that might be under y’all’s radar, or maybe just an older game in general without it being brought up by y’all first, otherwise we’ll be way off-topic of the article we’re commenting on.
AKA: No way for us to start a thread, which leads to us having to follow the topics y’all bring up.
As I said, the comments work well enough, but there are things a forum can provide that is somewhat nice. Though there are definitely enough other places to voice our own opinions on things we wish to talk about, after all.
Russ would dig some forums as well.

I totally though of some good comment talking points while listening, but I've completely forgotten what I was going to post. I'll get back to you on that one.
I want some forums too.
I find that with comment sections I tend to not talk about certain things as I know that I won’t get much feedback. Whereas forums allow me to really express some of my ideas better through the ample tools for writing and communicating with other users. I find that it also allows a greater freedom of discussion topics as, as Slither has said, here(in the comments section) we feel restricted to just discussing what you have discussed on the show; this doesn’t really allow the users to fully present our ideas to you, and get you to talk about what we are talking about/want you to talk about.
The audience has probably changed a bit since the shut-down and reboot due to users thinking the show was finished. Perhaps now that you are back into your old stride, it would be a good opportunity to trial a new forum? Like you have already before, you could easily take it down if it go badly. Is it really not worth trying again?
Yeah, I can say that there is confirmation that the forums will NOT be coming back, period. Adam is not a fan of ‘em.
He said if you ever want to get something in the show, just email/tweet at them, and they can talk about it, thus allowing us to talk about it in the comments. :p
