Level 103 – The Rocketdog Show

Posted by mixmoff On November - 21 - 2011

I can’t express to you how much we all enjoyed this show…. all of us except Dan that is, who can’t tell us if he enjoyed himself or not because he’s blacked out this part of his life. Some day in the future a psychiatrist will be able to crack through the mental barrier he’s put up and the following barrage of words will spill forth from his stunned lips: Peppermint Pez, Skyrim dragons fighting Maximu’s horse, Call of Duty: Modern Manshoots 3, laser rocketdog surgery, muff muff earmuff, and brb need more smooth vodka.

Level 102 – The Theme Song Show

Posted by mixmoff On November - 15 - 2011

Adam, Dan, and Pete are in tune this week (haha get it, tunes?) as we institute our first modification. The gang talk To the Moon, Assassin’s Creed 2, Uncharted 3, Jimmy Johnson’s Anything with an Engine, the Wizard of Oz, and Generational Peak™. That’s totally going to be a thing and you’ll all have to pay me for coming up with it.

* The Fall Damage theme song is Helix Nebula by Anamanaguchi.
* Adam’s theme music: Kings of the Nordic Twilight by Luca Turilli
* Dan’s theme music: Nyan Cat
* Pete’s theme music: Fire It Up (instrumental) by Busta Rhymes

Level 101 – The Mod Show

Posted by mixmoff On November - 8 - 2011

Adam and Pete provide phat rhymes and dope times as they discuss Silent Hill, Rocketbirds, Voxatron, Stealth Bastard: Tactical Espionage Arsehole, Super Mario Galaxy 2, pumpkin beer, clove cigarettes, and the unimportance of completion time for single player games.

As we head off into the 4th season of Fall Damage, we’re trying something new. In the course of this show, we introduce the concept of thematic modification shows. Shoot us your best modification ideas, and we’ll work them in over the course of the season. Your lifelong dream of a show where complaints about games need to be delivered to the tune of 70′s arena rock ballads may just come true.

Level 100 – The Mystery Game Show

Posted by mixmoff On November - 1 - 2011

We did it. What better way to celebrate our 100th show than talking about Trine 2(the sequel to a game we talked about on Level 1) and answering questions from Slither and Linthus (now Mason and Jan)? The gang also talks about Battlefield 3, a mystery game one of the crew has been secretly playing, deportation, cults, and we tell you how you can win a copy of Serious Sam: The First Encounter Classic (courtesy of Mason.)

Livin’ the dream, kids. Livin’ the dream.

Level 98 – The Multimedia Show

Posted by mixmoff On October - 18 - 2011

This week Fall Damage goes American all over all of your asses. Niki tells us more than she wants to about Rage (in free-form spoken word) and Pete further expresses his undying love for Dark Souls before Adam begins an argument about whether the game’s apologist fandom has a leg to stand on.

PS: They don’t because Dark Souls chopped off both their legs.

Level 97 – The Dark Bolo Show

Posted by mixmoff On October - 11 - 2011

It’s a full house as Adam, Dan, Niki, and Pete convene to discuss bolo ties, Bolo Yeung, David Bowie, the unofficial history of Fall Damage, and (eventually) Dark Souls.

Level 96 – The Beard Maniac Show

Posted by mixmoff On October - 4 - 2011

Adam, Dan, and the living construct we’ve come to accept as Niki are joined this week by Mike Bachmann from A Fistful of Pixels to discuss Battlefield 3, Uncharted 3, The Binding of Isaac, Syndicate, and answer YOUR questions about how to behave in public!

Level 95 – The Runaway Show

Posted by mixmoff On September - 26 - 2011

Adam, Dan, and Pete achieve the unimaginable: to be the only podcast not to talk about Gears of War this week! Instead we talk Blocks That Matter, Just Cause 2, Borderlands, the Silent Hill HD collection, Julia Roberts movies, the cascading aptitude frontier (patent pending), and games we feel it is impossible for rational people to dislike.

Level 94 – The Mall Walker Show

Posted by mixmoff On September - 20 - 2011

Risque celebrity multimedia, the sleep schedules of the elderly, and chronolinear time travel are front and center in this fresh hot hot (hot) episode of Fall Damage. Adam, Pete, and Dan talk Rock of Ages, Disgaea 4, Bloodrayne Betrayal, Owlboy, Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine and Sine Mora. We are also pleased to announce Niki Fisher is alive, though we would be remiss not to point out that it is still theoretically possible that she has simply been replaced by an artificial intelligence created by some shadowy fringe fraternity responsible for a large-scale government conspiracy. Not likely, mind you, but certainly possible.

Level 93 – The Molotov Cockatoo Show

Posted by mixmoff On September - 13 - 2011

It’s a crossover explosion as Adam, Dan, and Niki are joined this week by Todd from Rocket Jump. The gang talks Star Fox 64, Rock of Ages, Crimson Alliance, Skydrift, Dead Island, those weird looking yellow glasses that make you super leet at games, bro, and (if you’re patient) Uncharted 3.
